Flat roofs covered in traditional felt have always created problems. Today however we use high performance non rip polyester felts and we highly recommend using hot bitumen.
We use aluminum solar reflective solution rather than using loose chippings. You can walk on this method without penetrating the felt. Walking on loose chippings can cause damage. This allows water to seep through the felt, traditionally the decking would in most cases be chipboard and would of course rot leading to damage in the supporting joists. This won't happen with our system.
We also offer a mineral surface non-rip top cover finish with a fifteen year guarantee at 55 GBP square metre, this is by far the best flat roofing system available.
Roof tiles are the most common covering for pitched roofs, these interlock, are easy to fit and are very durable. They come in a wide range of colors and design. Samples are always available free of charge
Ridge tiles are the angled tiles which line the top of the roof, also known as coping stones, these come in a wide range of colours and design.
There are many types of roof tiles on today’s market, be it Natural Slate, Hand Made Clay, Plain and Concrete.
The purpose of guttering is to efficiently channel rain water from the roof towards a downpipe which in turn carries it down to ground level and then into the drainage system. This system helps to stop the walls of the house becoming saturated and causing problems with dampness.
uPVC fascias, soffits and barge boards, provide a cost-effective and practical long-term answer to the problem of wood rot and decay and is the ideal replacement for timber.

Gutters are an important part of your home's weather proofing system. Every year leaves, moss, lichen, gravel from flat roofs, dead birds, old tennis balls, bird droppings, and what can only be described as "stinky sludge" gets washed off the roof into our gutters. This can build up at an alarming rate and can cause damage to the guttering itself or to your property. We recommend you have your gutters cleaned at least once a year to keep them in good condition and free flowing. Also Gullies or Grids, the drains at the bottom of your property where the rain water down spouts and kitchen and bathroom waste pipes discharge into should also be well maintained.

With the current unpredictable weather throughout all four seasons in the UK we are witnessing high winds and driving rain all year around. Often we will have gusts reaching in excess of 40 MPH. When high winds exceed these speeds lots of structural storm damage occurs. Your roof in particular is at risk. It is prudent to check your roof after any high winds for storm damage, if any broken roof tiles, slates, cement, masonary or any debris is evident at ground level or loose on your roof you should call an Accredited Roofing contractor for a thorough roof inspection and survey.
