Welbro Project Management Limited is an independent, privately owned company who formed in January 2000 as a site management and design company for the industrial roofing and cladding industry. Since then we have steadily grown to become a specialist contractor in our own right, focusing on industrial and commercial refurbishment projects both large and small.

Whether the units are large or small, whether they require a complete overhaul or just need the roof repaired, Welbro is here to help. We have extensive experience in refurbishing industrial buildings, inside and out. Occupied buildings can still be successfully refurbished, with a minimum of disruption to normal activities by working closely with all stakeholders. Many of the management team running Welbro previously worked for another contractor that specialised in refurbishing Aircraft Hangars & Military building, so they brought with them vast experience of these buildings.
Since 2000 we have grown our team from humble beginnings but there has always been a core of people within the company with decades of experience between them. Our Chairman, Keith Welch entered the industry as a youth working for Cape Universal, a manufacturer of asbestos cement roofing products and went onto work for two industry leading roofing and cladding companies before establishing Welbro with his Co-Directors. His experience alone represents over 40 years within the industry. Keith's brother Ian started his career as a trainee QS but moved onto work for a company specialising in Military roofing and cladding projects for the next 20 years before starting Welbro.
Welbro is a family run company, small enough to care but big enough to perform. Like a family, we support each other and work as a unit to achieve our goals. There is a "Welbro Way" of doing things; together, promptly, efficiently and correctly. We all know that if Welbro prospers we will all prosper, that's a great motivation to succeed. We have traded since the turn of the century, the business was built on honesty, integrity, and candour. The recommendations we make are based on experience, independence and what we believe to be right for the job.
If you need to renew a flat roof there is a way to help the environment, providing that the roof's location and specification is suitable, and that is to make it a "green" roof or roof garden. This will absorb CO2 and replace it with oxygen and help to retain rainwater, which sustains the seedum plants growing on the roof. There are now a range of very low maintenance plants that have been developed for this application and these combined with the right weathering membrane can produce some pleasing results.
