There are different roofing materials on the market today to choose from and our polite and friendly team will be more than happy to explain the differences in the materials and why one roofing system may be better for your application than another.
We have undertaken many commercial and industrial roofs as either the main contractor or as a sub contractor, these include Hospitals, school, shops, churches and industrial buildings on film studios and major hotel chains. The works range from roof repairs, general maintenance to complete new roofs.
Don't put off minor roof repairs because if left, your repair bill could go through the roof! Have your roof checked over after a major storm or just before or after winter to make sure everything is ok. Check for signs of deterioration such as loose, cracked or slipping tiles or slates and look out for any damp patches in the interior of your home as this could be a sign of a leaking roof.
Moss puts stress on the structure of any roof and needs to be removed by professional roofing contractors such as ours at Permacote. If moss is left to grow and multiply, it may result in the costly replacement of a new roof. Moss retains water, expands and creates havoc with roofs and whilst it may look pretty, it serves no purpose.

A big thanks to Elton and the team at Permacote. I had a leaking flat roof over my garage and asked Permacote for advice. Elton promptly visited to have a look at the roof and provided a very competitive quote. Permacote have just finished removing the old and installing a new GRP flat roof. The team were professional, hard working, polite and have done an excellent job. I would happily recommend Permacote and will be using them again.

He came to inspect the work promptly, and sent a great team of roofers to complete the job in 2 days. There were some tricky details to deal with, and the finish and attention to detail looked great. Permacote have done a great job of moss removal, tile repair and gutter clearing on our roof. Elton's surveyed our roof not up a ladder or from the ground but via his drone which photographed our entire roof! I was impressed. After we had solar panels fitted, Permacote's guys came round and efficiently sorted minor repairs that had resulted.

Elton and Permacote were recommended by a neighbour. Elton came over the day after I first called him and sent a drone up to photograph the roof. I received a detailed quotation later the same day. The work has been completed a few weeks later by the team. My experiences of Elton and the team are such that I would happily recommend them to others, and use them for any future work myself.

Top firm, Professional, Good job and fair price, can't ask for more. They are from Which Trusted Traders, and yet again I found a great company. I work in an area of construction and know what is good and what is a short cut. I contacted several Which Traders as their vetting is head and shoulders above the others who just want the money for subscription. Permacote, came out a good price and I liked their thoroughness, specification and detailed work breakdown that is understandable.
The workman turned up on time, were polite, did a great job cleaning up and the most important thing, did a by the book roof re-surface. And wasn't an easy straightforward job either - multi level, chimneys, tricky junctions, for an EPDM warm roof, various re-pointing and not skimping as had all the official edges, battens, layering, overlaps. When we looked at the roof we found more work required, cement badly broken away and the additional works were again well priced and everything was clearly explained, regulations followed. No heavy sales tactics or sneaky extras. During and after the job I got follow up calls to check I was happy and if I had any questions. Very professional.

Efficient, Professional, High Quality - Highly Recommended Elton Day was recommended to us by a trusted neighbour and friend. He responded immediately when we contacted him and spent good quality time with us in order to inspect our flat roof. At the time, we weren't sure of the problem, but Elton identified it straight away. He advised taking up the old flat roof and repairing it, and quickly provided us with a quote.
I loved that his quote was broken out into different options that we could choose from as far as the type of roofing material we would prefer. He provided links so that we could investigate both materials, and took our calls when we asked for clarification on various points. We booked the job and the team arrived on time, on the appointed day, with minimal effort on our part.
The team of 4 immediately went to work, and took care upon entering our property to keep the dust and dirt down to a minimum. They also did a great cleanup job at the end of each day's work which was impressive! They were incredibly self-sufficient, professional, quiet, and thorough. We particularly appreciated that they went above and beyond the specific work, in 2 ways: 1.
They identified our drainage hole as being too small from the flat roof, and created a bigger one to avoid any future issues. 2. They had to break some render away from the house to lift the old roof and lay the new one, and they re-rendered the property to repair this damage. Incredible! Overall, dealing with Elton and his team has been a fantastic experience and I wouldn't hesitate to employ them again, or recommend them to anyone.

Elton and his team were great. After the initial quote, I was given multiple options on how they could tackle the problem. After agreeing on a plan, within no time at all scaffolding was up and the job was completed, AND with NO hidden extra charges. And all this was during the holiday season and covid - 19. I am in the property business as well so have had my experiences with cowboys.
