The Company is particularly active in concrete works associated with road building, drainage and remediation, having delivered a series of complex drainage Cascades along the M6 as it travels through the Cumbrian hills. These cascades required excavation of steeply graded, rocky ground, laying of a reinforced base, and installation of a cast concrete spillway demanding unique shuttering provision by the Company's joinery factory.

Defence & Industrial

The Company has delivered a series of complex ammunitions storage facilities for the MoD and as a sub-contractor for the likes of industry leading Amey. The nature of defence projects mean images can not be shared publicly. Continuing to be awarded defence infrastructure contracts in 2021, Cubby Construction continue to utilise their experience with sensitive projects.

Education & Healthcare

Experience in the education sector covers both new build and refurbishment projects. The Company has worked extensively for schools and colleges in its home city of Carlisle, providing rapid renovations to Trinity School following major flood damage in the winter of 2015.

The Company provides an extensive range of drainage and waste water works covering municipal, industrial, commercial and domestic waste water and clean water networks and sewage treatment plant installation.
