I asked for a quote to repair a tiny slow leak on the inside loft chimney, slightest little stain appeared. After a man came and looked at the stain and never even went on to the roof, I was quoted, one week after his visit, 2,196.56 to repair. I consequently got three other quotes ranging from 270-500 and all amazed and confused at what they would be doing for that and all three other companies saying they could re-tile the roof for that amount of money! My advice; get various quotes, I used ibuilder and response was great and job complete within a week.

Had my roof repaired just before Xmas and the guys did an amazing job. No more leaks and the guys who came are a credit to the company. Would recommend Bingley roofing to anyone. Thank you.

We live in Bingley and asked Bingley Roofing to make some repairs to our 30 year old roof. They came to assess the job ( very promptly) and gave us a honest assessment of what needed to be done. They did not try to sell us a new roof that we didn't need (which one of their competitors did). Their quote was very competitive and, now that the work is complete, we are confident the price was excellent value for money. Eddie and Gavin were very thorough in their work and also in cleaning up after themselves ( always appreciated when we have trades round). Eddie has been a roofer for over 40 years and was clearly very experienced, asking relevant questions and checking our requirements.

180 year old roof on a quadruple fronted, four story commercial building. No-one could stop it leaking. Bingley Roofing did. Now bone dry after one of the wettest winter/springs we've ever had. First class results on a job everyone else said was impossible. Thanks Bingley Roofing!

Don't believe the one good review. They will have written it themselves! My garage was dry. It unfortunately was connected to our neighbour's which leaked, so we agreed to have both garages re-roofed by Bingley so-called Roofing. Since then, our garage has been drenched, puddles on the floor, all the wooden beams soaking wet, and items in the garage are soaking wet. I ring up to complain. They put the phone down on me. When i first posted a review for Bingley Roofing it was a one star review. I'd made an appointment with them for a quote for some work i needed doing on my roof which they didn't keep. I made another appointment and they didn't keep that one either. I instantly got a bit of a strop on about it and struck back at them from the shadows like a silent ninja (except i used my keyboard and not a samurai sword) and left a negative review.

At that point my partner stepped in and she told me i was being a baby and that i should give them another chance. I decided to do that but thought that i'd contact another local firm so that i could compare quotes and go with who i thought was most reasonable. So i contacted Bingley roofing again and they turned up on time this time. The other firm also turned up on the same day and both firms surveyed my roof to check what work needed to be done to fix a leak which was coming into the upstairs bedroom.

A couple of days later i got my quotes back from both firms. Bingley roofing told me the problem was a cracked tile which was letting in the rain and quoted me a price of 117.60 inclusive of VAT to fix the tile. The other local firm told me that they needed to 'Remove the roof tiles below the rear bedroom & remove the laths & defective underfelt. They would then cover the affected area with breathable underfelt and nail down new tanalised wood battens.

They would then refit the existing tiles to the laths & replace any tiles broken during this work'. The price they quoted me was 890 + VAT@20%. I obviously went with Bingley Roofing and got the faulty tile fixed and this appears to have sorted the problem. I've learnt my lesson - I'd rather go with an honest firm that can't always turn up bang on time than with another firm that turns up on time ready to rip you off.
