I Had J R Roofing to clean and apply a new Topcoat paint to my Fibreglass roof October 2017. I paid nearly 700, however on sweeping the roof March 2018 I find the topcoat paint has cracked open in several places. I contacted J R roofing to ask them to inspect the roof if the job had been done correctly this should not have happened. They has not even bothered to contact me let alone come to inspect the roof. I have wasted 700 for a botched job. I would not use them again.

After getting several quotes to redo the roof of my guest house I went with JR roofing. They were professional and answered my questions and concerns. They explained the available options to me and work was well done and looks great. I would definitely recommend getting a quote from them before considering getting any roof work done.

We have had various visits over the last few years whilst renovating our house: added flashing around chimneys, replaced tiles, bespoke roof tile vent for the bathroom and shower, helped out on securing our boiler flue on roof and are now about to fix our chimney after the last storm. Very professional and no messing about! Would highly recommend.

As part of an extension installed 10 years ago a cat slide roof supported by a wooden post was installed at the rear of our house. JR came to the rescue when the roof began to sink. As it wasn't clear how big the problem was, we agreed a basic contract with add-ons to cover other possible costs. JR carried out an investigation which revealed that the supporting post had rotted and the main beam tied to the post was warped.
They then replaced the inadequate wooden structures with steel. During the course of the work, we met several members of the JR team and without exception they were polite and always willing to discuss the work. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and would strongly recommend JR to anyone seeking a professional roofing service.

JR Roofing inspected the work I needed doing (simple slate tile repair and garage roof fix) and provided a written quotation. I confirmed I'd like to proceed with the work at which point I heard nothing back. I chased via email twice and by phone and text a couple of times each, but to no avail despite being told once on the phone they would check up on it and get back in touch. If they either don't want the work or are very busy I would kind of understand, but their failure to communicate at all (after going to the effort of providing a quote) is very frustrating. Don't waste your time!
