Applied in a 200 Micron thick coating. External Plastisol exhibits an embossed leather grain finish. This coating is very tough and has great formability and flexibility too and with a galvanised or aluzinc coated steel substrate it gives a high degree of protection against corrosion. This product is used externally worldwide.
Every roof will require flashings and trims to complete the project. These items play an important roll in sealing the roof against the wind and rain. All flashing sections are 3 metres long and are manufactured to suit individual orders in a wide variety of sizes, colours and angles. They can be ordered in the same colour as the sheets or in an alternative colour to the sheets to provide a highlight or feature on the Building.
Box profile sheets are always fixed with a tech fasteners in the * valley (trough) part of the sheet directly into the purlin underneath. These screws are purpose made fittings for these sheets and are drilled in with an 8mm socket driver fitted in the chuck of your electric drill. A standard 8mm (5/16) A drive socket fitted in the chuck of your electric drill will also do the job.
Butyl sealant strip can be used for sealing a variety of joints in sheeting, guttering etc but please ensure the sheet surface is clean and dry before applying. They come in coils of 15metre lengths and is 9mm wide and 3mm thick. It is easy to apply as the tack holds it onto the surface of the metal and you simply peel off the paper backing when in position.
