Liner sheets for steel roofing and wall cladding systems are available from Moores Profiles with a standard coating of bright-white lining enamel to the interior. Lengths of up to 6000mm can be supplied. In roofing conditions, the span capabilities of the lining panels are largely dependent on the weight of the insulation they are required to support.
Many specifiers recommend built up insulated roof and wall cladding systems for complete thermal efficiency. The insulant such as universal wool / fibreglass is sandwiched in the cavity between the top sheet NWSSR32 and liner panel NWSSL20. Because of increases in the insulation thickness needed to achieve the current 'U' values for buildings, the Ashgrid Safe-Loc bar system is more able to deal with the increased cavity size. For many years a shallow profile NWSSL20, in a.4 gauge has been used as the liner in the built up insulation systems.
